Healing and Gratitude.

I am on a continuous journey of healing and gratitude. I would like to share a breif story and video about what has helped me process my life and continue to grow for my future.

Being human is quite an adventure. It’s so strange that we can be one thing on the outside and another on the inside! I struggled with this most of my life. I’ve always been a ray of sunshine with neverending optimism on the outside. I genuinely felt this was my natural state. I loved being joyful, excited, and happy! Looking back, it’s amazing that I held up that positive front for my whole life! However, on the inside I was still optomistic and positive, but at he same time I was also riddled with self-doubt, low self-esteem, and negativity.

In recent years, I experienced quite a bit of trauma. I have so much gratitude for that time because I have learned so much about myself through the process of healing! I am much stronger, smarter, and capable than I have ever imagined. I am superhuman (and so are you!)!!

There is catalyst to my healing and gratitude journey. I have infinite gratitude for my 6th grade teacher, Lisa Gizzi! Not only for her wonderful teachings when I was young, but she opened my eyes and my heart to a better way to look at the world and live my life as an adult.

I happened to rekindle my relationship with her through Facebook. It was while I was struggling through COVID, divorce, and a frightening medical diagnosis. We started chatting and met for dinner. She was dealing with her own traumas, family, medical, etc. She shared her experience regarding her medical/physical issues and what she was doing to process, deal, and heal. I was inspired by her strength and determination. She was walking when doctors told her she would not be able to. She did it against all odds and I was in awe of her. Miss Gizzi taught me so much about healing and gratitude!

Miss Gizzi sent me a quick video, similar to the one in this post. She told me to listen and take it or leave it. I did, that was almost 4 years ago, and today I am a new person. I have learned to observe not absorb, take care of myself, lead with love (iykyk), open my heart, and know I am unstoppable. I continue to do the work, for the work is never done!

I’ve had this webpage for a long time. I’m figuring out what will be the purpose of it. I’m leaning towards helping others the way Miss Gizzi helped me. THANK YOU MISS GIZZI! Come back to see what happens! We can all use more healing and gratitude in our lives!

Please enjoy this video. Feel free to take it or leave it. I’ll see you back here soon! 💗
